Welcome to Avalon Rock Yorkie.

My name is Cathryn and I've been breeding Yorkshire terriers for 8 years.   I do not breed for the ultra tiny Yorkie but instead focus on puppies which will mature between 4 and 8 pounds.   I strive to breed a happy, well adjusted, healthy puppy which will bring you many years of joy. To be a genuine Yorkie, the dog must also have the true Yorkie look, a long silk coat and proper conformation to go along with that unmistakable Yorkie attitude. I have an on-going commitment to breed the very best puppy which will grow up to make both of us proud.

The Yorkie is a wonderful breed of dog with great personality. He is energetic enough to enjoy his playtime or walk and yet he is able to settle down in your lap for a long nap.   Some enjoy competing in conformation and others enjoy agility. Yes!!! Yorkies do agility.

Most Yorkies love children. I've always thought it's because they have so much in common with young kids. They're playful, happy, always ready for attention (everything except a bath, that is), they enjoy being the center of attention, they love their toys and best of all, they're so easy to spoil rotten.    I do not discriminate against parents of young children providing the children are given sound instruction in how to treat and care for a toy breed dog.

Avalon Rock Yorkie is located in northeast GA. Guests are welcome to visit the puppies in person by appointment only.   Parents of available puppies are on the premises and they love visitors!!!

All my puppies are sold with a spay/neuter agreement unless otherwise agreed to beforehand.

I have AKC and CKC registerable puppies. Registration papers will be released only after proof of spay or neuter.

Prices are determined according to size, sex, registry and purpose.

I feel it is best to see the puppy in person but I understand that isn't always possible. I've placed puppies in loving homes from Alaska to the Virgin Islands and from New York to California.   Shipping is done with utmost care via Delta airlines.

If you are unable to pick up your puppy in person and have qualms about a puppy being shipped, I will personally deliver your chosen puppy at any major U.S. airport.
